About Seaside

Seaside is a thriving little community right along 30A just west of Grayton Beach. Think of pastel-colored cottages with white picket fences all leading to striking pavilions that lead you onto the beaches, and you have found Seaside. A Little Bit of Seaside History

Back in the 1970s, one man who hails from Birmingham, AL, Robert Davis, inherited some acreage in northwest Florida. He knew his grandfather had dreams of turning his property into something special, and that is exactly what Robert did. Seaside became the first New Urbanist town.

Like Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant very close by. Come for a late dinner and experience the ringing of the bell to officially welcome sunset. There is also a pizza bar, a taco bar, and Pickles Beachside Grill where you can enjoy all the fried pickles you want.

During the summer months, be sure to head on over to Central Square for live jazz concerts and music under the stars. Each Saturday morning at Central Square be sure to visit the Seaside Farmer’s Market. There is so much to buy and see, just like in all of Seaside.
